Anna Canfield Roth is a Principal at Fenway Summer Ventures. She joined the firm after several years in public service, most recently as the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. In this role, she advised the Director, Deputy Director and Chief of Staff on the strategic direction, policy priorities, and operations of the agency.
She was a founding member of the CFPB and was directly involved in starting-up the bureau, creating its infrastructure and launching its divisions. Before joining the CFPB, Anna worked at the Office of Management and Budget in a variety of roles focusing on income assistance, education policy and appropriations legislation. Prior to entering the federal government, Anna worked at the Center for American Progress and at the Michigan House of Representatives.
She is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the University of Michigan. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband.
