Shari Redstone is a Co-Founder and serves as a Managing Partner at Advancit Capital.

Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Advancit Capital. She is a media executive with a wide-ranging background in numerous aspects of the media and digital industry. She is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Viacom Inc. and Vice Chair of the Board of CBS Corporation.

Since 2000, she has also been President of National Amusements, one of the top 10 movie exhibitors in the U.S. Shari has expanded the company's international footprint and its exploration of new technologies.

In addition, she is Co-Chairman of MovieTickets.com and is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the National Theatre Owners Association.

Shari earned a BS from Tufts University, a JD and a Masters in Tax Law from Boston University. She is involved in a variety of charitable, civic, and educational organizations. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Combined Jewish Philanthropies and the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. Shari sits on the Board of Trustees at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She served on the Board of Directors of The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) at Columbia University from 2003-2012. Most recently, Shari joined the Board and Executive Committee of “Our Time”, a mass-membership non-profit organization that stands for the economic interests and political inclusion of young Americans aged 18-30. She is also on the Local Advisory Board and Executive Committee for BUILD, a non-profit organization which uses entrepreneurship to propel low income youth through high school and into college.

She has been the President of National Amusements since January 2000. She serves as an Executive Vice President of NAIRI Inc. She serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rising Star Media. She serves as Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of MovieTickets.com Inc., and the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of CineBridge Ventures Inc. Ms. Redstone served as Chief Executive Officer of OOO Rising Star Media. She served as an Executive Vice President of National Amusements from 1994 to January 2000. Ms. Redstone serves as Chairman of OOO Rising Star Media. She served as the Chairman of Midway Games Inc. from December 2007 to November 2008 and Vice Chairman from June 2004 to December 2007. She Redstone has been Vice Chairman of Viacom Inc. since January 1, 2006 and serves as its Director. Ms. Redstone served as the Non-Executive Vice Chairman of CBS Corporation since January 1, 2006 and its independent Director since 1994. She served as Director of Midway Games Inc., from June 2004 to November 2008. Ms. Redstone is a Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for National Association of Theatre Owners. She serves as a Director of National Amusements. She practiced law from 1978 to 1993; her practice included corporate law, estate planning and criminal law. Ms. Redstone is a member of the board of several charitable organizations, including the Board of Trustees at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the Board of Directors at Combined Jewish Philanthropies and the Board of Directors of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, and was a Member of the Board of Overseers at Brandeis University and the Board of Trustees at Tufts University. She also serves as the Chairman and Co-Founder of Rising Star Media.
