Courtney Robinson serves as Principal at Advance Vixeid Partners. She has spent nearly ten years in and around growth-stage technology companies in Silicon Valley.
Prior to joining AVP, Courtney was a founding Principal and member of the founding team of American Express Ventures, a $100 million fund making strategic investments on behalf of American Express.
During her tenure at American Express Ventures, she completed investments in companies such as RetailNext, Bill.com, IfOnly, SavingStar and Learnvest (acquired by Northwestern Mutual). Prior to co-founding American Express Ventures, Courtney ran business development and partnership efforts at Plum District, a local market oriented e-commerce business. Courtney began her career at GCA Savvian Advisors, where she was an investment banking associate in the firm’s Internet group. Courtney received her BA in Economics from Columbia University.
Prior to Amex Ventures, she ran business development and partnerships at Plum District, a local eCommerce startup targeting the mom and family vertical. Courtney began her career as an associate at GCA Savvian Advisors. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia University.
